Tom began his legal career in the litigation department of a national, Columbus-based law firm. There, he was involved in many aspects of the discovery process and case management.
While attending law school, Tom participated in the Ohio State Law Journal, and worked in the Entrepreneurial Business and Legislation Clinics. As part of the Legislation Clinic, Tom served the Ohio Senate Democratic Caucus, attending committee hearings and voting sessions, and drafting bill analyses and public records requests. Tom was also a two-time President of the Jewish Law Students Association.
Prior to attending law school, Tom attended Tufts University, where he was inducted to the Political Science Honor Society (Pi Sigma Alpha) and was a two-year Corps Member with Jumpstart of AmeriCorps, where he taught in an under-resourced preschool in the local community.
Tom is a member of the Columbus Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association.
Tom is fluent in Hebrew.
