Amber L. Merl
Amber Merl joined Carpenter Lipps & Leland in Spring 2013, after four years as an associate at an international law firm. Her experience includes commercial cases, constitutional matters, contract disputes, regulatory matters, and complex appeals. Amber has experience throughout the various stages of the litigation process, including drafting and responding to pleadings, managing electronic discovery, taking and defending depositions, and drafting and arguing discovery and dispositive motions. In law school, Amber served as Editor-in-Chief of The Ohio State Journal on Dispute Resolution, which is the official law journal of the American Bar Association's Section on Dispute Resolution.
Amber is a board member of Columbus Collegiate Academy, a charter school, and the Junior League of Columbus. She is a member of the Columbus Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association, United Way of Central Ohio Women's Leadership Council, and a Pelotonia Lead Volunteer. Amber and her husband live in Powell with their two young daughters.
