Kevin C. Hulick
Kevin joined Carpenter Lipps & Leland LLP from the Ohio Attorney General's Office. While at the Attorney General's Office, Kevin worked in the Employment Law Section and the Constitutional Offices Section. Notably, while in the Constitutional Offices Section, Kevin represented the Ohio Secretary of State in a federal case involving a challenge to Ohio's voter registration list maintenance programs. He also represented the Ohio Attorney General before the Ohio Supreme Court in a constitutional challenge to Ohio's 2006 amendments to the initiative petition process.
Kevin attended the University of Virginia School of Law. Prior to law school, he attended Youngstown State University where he majored in economics and political science, graduated summa cum laude, and was the Student Commencement Speaker at his graduation. While at Youngstown State, Kevin competed in moot court through the American Collegiate Moot Court Association for three years. All three years Kevin won awards at the national level. During college, Kevin assisted in the coaching of the debate team at his high school alma mater, Austintown-Fitch High School.
