Karen M. Cadieux
Karen Cadieux joined the firm in fall 2005 after graduating ranked 8th in her class of 235 at Capital University Law School. She has been involved in defending products liability actions on behalf of several major U.S., Italian, and Japanese manufacturers in the automotive, motorcycle, and juvenile products industries. She has also defended medical professionals and institutions in medical malpractice actions. Further, she has been involved in commercial litigation and in the defense of consumer credit claims on behalf of major financial institutions. Karen also has represented clients in appellate matters. Karen has experience in taking and defending depositions, drafting appellate briefs, presenting oral arguments, drafting and arguing discovery and dispositive motions, and has participated in several trials.
In law school, Karen received a Pro Bono Validation through her work on behalf of The National Center for Adoption Law & Policy. She has continued her community involvement through the New Lawyers’ Committee of the Columbus Bar Association.
